The marine environment is arguably the harshest testing ground for any structural material. Constant exposure to saltwater, intense UV radiation, and relentless pounding from waves demand a material that is both tough and resilient.


Modern boat building relies almost entirely on advanced fiberglass composites. But the technology is rapidly evolving. We are moving away from traditional hand-layup techniques toward advanced vacuum infusion processes.


Vacuum infusion uses a sealed vacuum bag to draw resin through the dry fiberglass reinforcements. This technique perfectly controls the resin-to-glass ratio, eliminating excess resin (which adds weight but no strength) and ensuring perfectly saturated fibers with zero air voids.
